AB Penthouse and mini suite - Star

Looking at the ship diagram it shows the possibility of connecting a mini-suite and a Penthouse AB. Does anyone know if this is true or is the connecting room shown acutually the childrens room? Specifically 11030 and 32. This is the first time for our family in a Penthouse. Thanks.:confused:

True connecting mini suite. Makes a perfect addition for extended family or friends. It is not the childrens room

Just like time2cruise1 said, it is an AF connecting cabin. It is a nice size cabin, a tad bit longer then a regular balcony cabin. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo (instead of just a shower).

I have to warn you, that once you go "Penthouse" you will NEVER go back........;) :D

Our first AB was a gift from the "Upgrade Fairy" back in 2005. (We were in an AF) After that first cruise, we have only been in AA's or AB's.

I would say that the extra space is the #1 reason, after that, well, we like the "perks"......:)

I have heard of folks using the connecting mini-suite with an AB. If it is done right from the start (linking the reservations), the AF is counted as a third bedroom of the AB.
