Chase Suites - Tampa

I found this hotel in the Westshore/Airport section for $94 for the night we'll be in on Travelocity, which seems like a good price since I've read good things about this hotel on here.

 

Is there anything around here within walking distance? How far of a cab ride to port? Would we be able to walk around and spend the day near the hotel?

I called them for info and they said the complimentary shuttle service is to/from the airport, and within a 5 mile radius from the hotel. The shuttle to the port would be part of their package which was $15 more, which I didn't think was bad.

 

Anyone know what is within a 5 mile radius that you would use the shuttle for to see?

Restaurants, shopping, malls, and movies. Chase is a good choice!

We stayed at the HI Express next door to Chase Suites, there is a Bahama Breeze restaurant

within close walking distance . International Mall in within shuttle distance, has a Cheese Cake Factory and several other restaurants
