St. John's Wildlife

Recommended Posts

Are there any excursions offered (not necessarily through Carnival) where you can go a bit off the beaten path to see wildlife? I'm not sure what my husband is hoping to see, but he said he would enjoy a 'animally' type of excursion.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think Carnival stops in St. John's - do you mean Saint John, New Brunswick as opposed to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador???

If it is Saint John, a self guided excursion to the Irving Nature Park might be of interest: http://www.ifdn.com/inp/index.htm Wildlife would consist of marine animals (if you can spot them) and birds (more than 250 species have been spotted).
