Elle in Chicago Posted January 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Happy New Year everyone! Are there any taxis in Cartagena that will fit four people, or should we go ahead and book a tour with the ship? We're hoping for a little more adventure with a personal cab driver, but I don't want to risk it if there are no cabs that will fit the four of us. Thanks for your help! Lsimon Posted January 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Sorry - somehow I though this was on another port of call board - never been to Catragena yet so I'm editing this post to remove my answer. OTOH, I don't think I've ever been anyplace where the cabs wouldn't fit four people.
garabato Posted March 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2009 If you go out with the independent taxi drivers (blue shirts that say "taxi taxi taxi" all over the shirt) then one person will fit in the front and three in the back. Fairly small vehicles but if nobody is "fluffy" you can fit 4 in a car. If a guide goes along and takes up the front seat...then you are limited to three persons sitting in the back seat.
