Mini suites Sapphire & Star

My first cruise on Princess is next week 17Jan on Sapphire and of coarse I'm sooo excited that I want to book another cruise while I'm on board and buy/use some FCC's. I want a new cruise experience! I know I'm going to love Princess.

 

Looking at a South America cruise on Star. My questions is:

 

The minisuites on Sapphire are 354sqft incl balcony. On Star 323sqft.......

What is the difference as they are the same class of ship?:confused:

Could be the Star's balconies are a tad smaller? Those sq footage numbers do include the balcony. That's the only thing I can think of.

We've been in a mini on both the Star and the Sapphire. That is exactly right, the Star's balconies are smaller than some on the Sapphire. The cabins, as I recall, are exactly the same.

Also remember that the Sapphire/Diamond sisters are wider by 5 feet than the previous and new Grand Class vessels. That might add a few square feet to some cabins....

Thanks everyone for the replies.

 

I'll will be able to base my decision as soon as we see the cabin, I'm sure it going to be great. There possibly could be three of us in the cabin for a 17 night cruise and just want to make sure it will be comfortable hence the question where the sqf difference is in cabin size but a smaller balcony is better than a smaller cabin. Deck plans don't always show reality.
