Valor2005 Posted January 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2009 I have a Shareholder OBC for our upcoming cruise. I noticed that it said it could not be used for tips or the casino. I've seen conflicting posts on this. Does anyone have any recent experience? I'd hate to leave an unused credit while getting a charge to my credit card. kelz66 Posted January 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2009 It's an OBC...charges on your S&S card will be credited against that before your credit card is charged.

We had shareholder OBC for our Valor cruise last July and it was listed as OBC and applied towards our S&S account. As usual the tips showed up right away on our account and the amount was deducted from our shareholder obc balance. I can't comment on the casino since I use cash there. Valor2005 Posted January 7, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted January 7, 2009 That's good news! I'd hate to have to buy something I didn't really want to haul home just to use up the credit. Life would be soooo much easier if only I drank!;) Thanks so much for the info.
