Cheap Spirit tix LGA-FLL, Feb 19-27

Hi-

I just booked nonstop tix from La Guardia to Ft. Lauderdale on Spirit for only $225 each - that's for the week of Feb. 20, when many schools are out. Ticket prices have been sky high, including on Spirit. I don't know why these suddenly came down...but get em while they're hot if you're in the NYC area sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale/Miami that week! I went straight to their website: spiritair.com.

 

This is, like, half the price I was about to give in and pay! :)

That is a good price. We booked for that weeek as soon as flights became available, at 265.00 each from Albany, Ny

Just rechecked Spirit and the prices have already risen (12 hours later) by $150. But this at least proves that temporary price dips are still possible for that popular week....I guess you just have to check often.

Btw, I found the low price on Sidestep - I'm not sure that Expedia etc. show Spirit Air. ITA Software is also good except that it perpetually shows really low JetBlue prices that are no longer available. So don't get your hopes up when you see JetBlue for $215 R/T: it ain't real! :(

We got a r.t. flight non-stop on Spirit for $180.00 laGuardia to Ft. Lauderdale. We booked it about 9 months ago. We're leaving Feb. 18th.
