When is Final Payment due ?

I am ready to book my 5 day cruise which sails in May. What is the time line for the final payment for Carnival?

We sailed on 09/14/2008 and our final payment was due 07/01. Hope this helps.

On a five day cruise final payment is due 61 days before sailing. For six day or longer cruises from the USA it is 76 days. For European, South American and the rare sailing through the Panama Canal it is 91 days.

Thank you YST. I added the 5 day info at the last second in my post. I thought that it made a difference on the final payment date.

Actually 75 days is when you enter penalty phase. Final payment on a 7 day cruise would be due one day before that.

my 12 day cruise is 94 days away and I got a call on monday that my final payment was now due. not exactly sure why, maybe they just wanted a headstart on headcount.

A TA can request a final paymnt day well ahead of Carnival. So do it in case the person is paying by check, to wait until it clears. Others just want to make sure to give the client a few extra days leeway.
