WE just did this last week and it ROCKED!!!!!!!!!

We hired Gerry for 3 hours to just 'bar hop' the East side (since we had our 2 boys with us we went to Mezcalitos and Coconuts while they were closed.)

Even though Mezcalitos, Coconuts was closed....you can still walk around them...because of their open design.

We hit the other bars and grabbed a beer along the way. Gerry will also bring an ice chest if you want to stop and grab some beers and ice.

We took lots of pictures.

It was $95 an hour for 3 hours and $25 an hour for any additional hours for up to 4 people if he uses the station wagon or 8 people if he uses the van.

We tipped him $20.00. There were 4 of us.

We had him pick us up at Puerto Maya dock where the taxis are and dropped us off at Paradise Beach to spend the afternoon with Tom. Then we grabbed another taxi back to the ship later that day.

He gave us a tour of the area before heading over to the East side. He will go anywhere you want to go...it was fantastic!!

We will be back to the East side....it was WONDERFUL!!!!

We visited Chen Rio about five years ago and had a wonderful plate of freshly fried fish with shrimp, lobster, vegetables and it was totally awesome. This past weekend we went on the Navigator and decided to do the same thing. We got there at 12:30, which was really 11:30 Cozumel time. They handed us a menu (now they have such a thing, not the first time we went) and a similar plate for up to six people was priced at $55.00. We thought it was a great deal so we ordered it along with some Negra Modelo beer. About ten minutes later the waitress comes back to tell us the guy that has the keys to the refrigerator was running late, so they had no beer and no food to cook. Needless to say we got up and left. Although I can understand that they won't open until later, if they know the ships come in at 6:00 am their time, if they want to make some money, they should be getting ready to open much earlier than noon. So, to make a long story short, if you get there early, don't go to Chen Rio.
