Bus excursions to Paris

We understand it is a 2 1/2 hour drive from Lehavre to Paris. Will there be a guide on the bus for self tour and are there bathrooms on the bus?

We took the bus tour offered by Celebrity, this past Sept. There was a tour guide for each bus. There was toilet facilities, we didn't use it. :D

I wish I could find the posting we found on a different thread, the gentlemen described the bus trip and cruise and it was great.

He stated that the bus ride was aweful, that the seats were made for very small people, and no taller than 5' 4", he sat with his legs in the isle the whole time. He said the bus ride was miserable, the lunch cruise was okay, and then it was back on the bus for the miserable ride back.

If I locate it I will copy to this posting.

We are doing a private tour.

We did the bus trip last year from into Paris, we booked it through Princess. It was a long trip but the bus was decent, had a bathroom and stopped at a convenience type store with toilets(weird French type to be sure) about half way through the trip. But at the end you got to see Paris.

Was it worth it? We're looking into taking the PRincess excursion this summer for Paris on your own with our 3 kids. We've spent about 10 days in Paris a few years ago on our own so we thought this would be a great excursion for us. The only other thing that I have been checking into was taking the train. There are plenty for us to take, but it doesn't look like we'll be saving too much money by doing this and then have to worry about getting back on time. It would be nice to be able to walk around on the train though.
