Is there Wi-Fi in Suites and is Drycleaning available on Emerald?

Hi fellow cruisers,

 

We are sailing on Emerald ex FLL on 2009-02-18.

 

I am curious as to whether internet Wi-Fi is available in the aft suites.

 

I have also read on here that Princess is going green, and drycleaning may not be available on Emerald.

 

Does anyone have any recent experience to share? We will be in D736 - St. Thomas Suite.

We were just on the Emerald Princess over Christmas in a PH Suite. To answer your questions, there is No Wifi in the suites, only in the atrium area of the ship. Also there is No dry cleaning on the ship. Our cabin steward told us the first day that this is no longer offered on the ship.

 

You will love the Emerald Princess.

Princess should take that "suite-perk" off their website. I guess we will dryclean our tuxedos before we go and have them pressed once we get on board.

Well, we had dry-cleaning on the Sapphire a few months ago. Maybe it is not available on the newer ships?

According to what I have heard, the Emerald is suppose to have wifi hot spots throughout the ship. When I was on the Grand, they had 8 hot spots per cabin deck. If the suites are way in the back, it is possible you are a little out of range or if you have a lap top that has built in wifi, it may not be able to receive the wifi signal...
