Ecstasy change in itinerary

We received notice from Carnival that our Ecstasy itinerary was changed. The only thing I noticed was that we will leave Cozumel at 10pm instead of 12am. We will not arrive any earlier at Calica/PDC, so what are they doing with the extra 2 hours- sailing around I'm assuming? I have no problem with the change, since I plan on being back on the ship by then, but I am curious as to why they changed it? Does anyone know why they would need to leave earlier?

Thanks :)

What other reason would they have than to have the casino open for 2 extra hours and if they have noted that most people are generally back on the ship by 2200 hours, then, it makes sense for them to get the gamblers rolling, no.

We are going on 12/4, New Freedoms, let us know how you enjoyed it when you get back.

BTW we have not been notifed of a change, yet. Our documents indicate that we are in CZM until midnight.

I cut and pasted the above itinerary from my Carnival.com account. My DM also got a fax with the same itinerary revision (except hers said Cancun/PDC, which we found out was a misprint (should say Calica/PDC). Her times reflect the same time change as my online account.

It doesn't bother either of us about leaving early, I'm just curious about the change. I don't know if any of the other cruises have been changed as well.

After reading your post, I went online to check our reservation and our itin. had changed also! We also knew we would be back before midnight easily, so we will be more mindful to make it back by 10.

I'm glad you posed the question because I hadn't noticed!

Go figure!

I haven't been notified of any change, but since everyone else seems to have the change, I bet we do too. Tried to check just now on Carnival.com and it said it could not access my reservation at this time...

Guess I'll have to check on it tomorrow....
