Hump cabin

Hi again everyone ,

 

I have read in many posts about a " Hump Cabin " , I am usually very good at working out abbreviations or slang but you have got me completely stumped this time guys ! Can someone please enlighten me as to what a Hump Cabin is ?

On RCCL's Radiance class, Voyager class, and Freedom class, if you look at the deck plans, the sides of the ship bump out around the centrum. Cabins situated on these bumped out areas are what is referred to as Hump Cabins.

Folks like them, as they are very convenient to elevators and stairs! On Radiance class ships, some of the cabins have extra balcony space. On Voyager and Freedom class, you don't get larger balconies, but the location is great.
