does any one know where can find the conch man. Im not sure what island he is on but I do know I read about him in my quarterly timeshare magazine. I read that he cooks the best conch dishes on the islands. and we had wanted to check it out

There is probably at least one guy called "Da Conch Man" on every inhabited island of the Bahamas. I know in Freeport, Da Conch Man is at Port Lucaya Marketplace, across from Count Basie Square, and Zonk the Conch Man is located near Island Seas Resort, but probably there is a self-described "conch man" on every other island too, so you'd really need to find out which island this one you read about it on.

 

Best conch dishes in the islands is highly subjective of course....there are many excellent conch places throughout the Bahamas.

Bishop's on GBI has in my opinion the best cracked conch I've had. Conch salad is different and is a taste... it is raw conch cooked by lime juice with other spicy veggies.
