Cayo Beach-Samana question

Is there any shade at Cayo beach in Samana? My mother and step-dad want to book an snorkeling excursion there that ends with being dropped off at the beach. They are fine with tat, but my step-dad doesn't do well in direct sun and wants to know if there would be somewhere for him to sit that would be shaded?

According to SouthernSparklers post below, there is plenty of shade provided by the palm trees:D
