Deep Sea Fishing-Southern Caribbean

Recommended Posts

Hi

Does anyone know which port would be the best to book a deep sea fishing trip? We are doing S. Carib...St. Thomas, St. Marteen, Antigua, St,Lucia and Barbados...we are travelling with friends and they want to take their son ...

Thanks-

T

I fished in St. Thomas last November right after a hurricane. The fishing was slow but we did manage to land 3 barracuda up to 40lbs. We did the inshore 4 hour inshore trip for $500.00. This includes soft drinks and beer, all equipment for up to 4 people. The Captain and mate were both great guys originally from the U.S.

They work hard to put you on the fish. For the most part they will put out six rods and troll with both bait and spoons. The charters are limited to 4 people . It was about a 1/2 hour taxi ride to the American Marina. I believe for a fee that they will also pick you up at the ship.

Here is the link.
