Shops open on Carnival Monday?

We will be in Aruba on Feb 4th which is a Wednesday but according to the Aruba tourism site it is called Carnival Monday and is an offical holiday does this mean the shops won't be open that day??

Carnival is on February 22nd in Aruba this year, they do it on Sunday before Ash Wednesday and they do have a holiday on the Monday afterwards as a national day of rest...
