Veragua Rainforest v. Rain Forest Aerial Tram Park

I see there are tours to the Veragua Rainforest and the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Park near Braulio Carrillo National Park. Also, our ship, Celebrity Constellation has a combo tour to the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Park and the canals of Tortuguero and Charlie Soto has a combo of the Veragua Rainforest and the canals.

Can anybody advise which is a better site to see and enjoy, the Veragua Rainforest or the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Park?

The Veraqua Rainforest, and the Aeriel tram there!!!!

Thank you for your advice JNCRUISEBUMS. I see from another thread that you visited the Veraqua Rainforest on a tour with Charlie Soto's Okeydokey Tours.

Have you also visited the Aerial Tram Park? Or are you basing your judgment on what you have heard about this Park? Why do you believe that Veraqua Rainforest is the better park to visit?

Thanks again for your assistance.

At the Veraqua rainiforest was the aerial tram. It dropped down 300 feet to the bottom of the rainforest, then they have a huge boardwalk that you can go on for probabaly 1/2 a mile or/and walk up 360 steps back to the top. I even spotted a bright red poisonous red frog there! It was absolutely gorgeous! They have a frog aquarium, a butterfly sanctuary and a reptile spot. I believe they also have ziplining. N.

I am going on HAL in a week and I had this same question.

Anyone been to both places and can compare?

I was originally going to Verugua and have info from oscar brown and Euvangie on it. But then I read the actual tram ride is very short at Verugua, but at the Braulio Carrillo National Park, the tram ride is 70 mins long.

Prices are similar, so would it be better to go for the long ride?

I do want to combine with Tortuguero Canal.

So finally how long are 2 rides ?

Which one is better?

Just got back from the Island Princess and Costa Rica-we did a combo tour with Oscar Brown of the Veragua Rainforest and Tortugeuro Canals. It was a long day but fun. We chose Veragua for our tour as it was closer-I think it was less than an hour from the ship, versus the other which I was told was two hours each way-we had a Panama Canal excursion the day before that involved several hours in total on a bus, so opted for the closer one in Costa Rica.

Veragua was very interesting-regardless of who you go with, it includes a guided walking tour with a Veragua guide who explains it all to you. We found it all very interesting. The aerial tram ride is short-I didn;t time it but I can't believe it was more than 10-15 minutes or so. The canals were also lots of fun-saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the boat ride. As I said, a fun day. :o
