wadethegringo Posted January 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2009 The best way would be to take a taxi from the port to belize municipal airport, about 20 minutes. jump on tropic air and fly to san pedro, 20 minute flight. tropic has flights every hour. you can rent a golf cart from any number of places on san pedro. add2travel Posted January 15, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted January 15, 2009 ok, that's probably more complicated than we want to do. What else could we do on our own.......there will be 8 adults, and we aren't really into group tours, etc.
darjensil Posted January 16, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2009 You should be able to take a water taxi here as well. It takes a little longer but I think it still can be done. This is what we are considering for our cruise in March. You can google San Pedro and their home web site will come up- it has the water taxi times and prices on it. We haven't done it but are considering it for March, anyone done this and if so how'd it work out?

kldt Posted October 7, 2009 #10 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Is there a beach on AC that has loungers? Some in my party don't dive and just want to sit on the beach and soak up the rays...
mdrobtx Posted October 7, 2009 #11 Share Posted October 7, 2009 I'm not sure. We're going to snorkel then rent a golf cart for a couple of hours of driving around. Google it. I bet you can find out.

punkinheads Posted October 12, 2009 #14 Share Posted October 12, 2009 I've been to Ambregis and you can take a boat to the island. I think it was about 55 mins. but I had a great time. Not much in beach area though. Good food and ice cream parlor.
