David's Supper Club Question

I'm confused- how does the restaurant work? Is it $30.00 no matter what you order, does everyone have the same meal? Different entries every day? How do you order? Does it include desert? Help, please explain why it's worth $30.00 when you can eat for free. Just curious and wondering if it's worth the extra money. We will be on the Pride on May 10th and cant wait!!! Thanks for your help.:o

Haven't tried it yet so cannot comment on the quality of the experience but the mechanics are this: everyone pays an additional charge of $30 to eat there. There is a menu of about 5 courses which you can access on the Carnival web site. It is like a prix fix meal at a restaurant- you get to chose something from each of the courses- and they do look and sound wonderful. The food is supposed to be of a much higher quality than in the main dining room. Everyone who posts seem to agree that they are definately worth it. I will be able to tell you come the beginning of April- we have reservations for at least one visit to the supper club on the conquest.

Margek, use the search features on the boards to get immediate info on questions, there are thousands of posts here to get answers from. But, to answer your immediate question, the Carnival specialty restaurants charge a fixed price, that includes gratuity, (most people pay extra anyway for the extraordinary service) from a set course menu, with multiple choices for each course. Yes it includes dessert, but not alcoholic beverages. It is a 3 hr experience, and equivalent to a $100+ meal, well worth it. I have been to David's on the Pride and can definitely recommend it!
