Did you get shipboard credit for fuel charges on orchestra?

I already made my final payment over 2 months ago. We paid for fuel charges. MSC said there will be ONBOARD credit and I wanted to see of others got onboard credit with no drama or issues.

We got a refund already through our travel agent. Call your TA if they are good you would have received the refund.

We are on the Lirica and also paid off 2 months ago and we received a credit to our credit card. I didn't care which we got as long as we got the credit.

we paid in full 3 months ago and called the TA they said its not an onboard credit its just a refund to the credit card and no we haven't gotten it so we're paying what we expected when we booked anyway so can't be too ticked off.

We were on the 2 day New Years cruise & it appeared as a credit on our account. I had forgotten about it so it was a pleasant surprise.

My wheels is wrong, they are not giving refunds, you will get a cabin credit but be sure to take your booking receipt showing what you paid as some guests who did not receive it needed proof they paid it. Ask your t/a to call ahead with your confirmation or do it yourself.

Just make sure you have this taken care of before you get on the ship. Lots of passengers on our cruise received it as an onboard credit and others did not and got upset with the registration desk. It is through your travel agent though and has to come from their end. Also the surcharge is not given to the kids - just the adults in the room.

MSC collected the fuel surcharge, not the travel agent. In Mr. Sasso's memo, it stated that the fuel surcharge would be refunded as an OBC.

your correct, refunds are on board but remember there are MANY screwups, take copy of your payments as there were many who did not receive credit, when proof was shown, no problem.

Just got off the Lirica 10 day cruise. They listed it as an on-board credit of $80.00 each for myself and my wife. :)
