Private tour to Cairo from Port Sokhna in March?

Can anyone recommend a pricate tour company that could take 3 of us to see the Pyramids and Sphinx (is that how you spell it?) from Port Sokhna rather than us having to take the ship's organised excursion? My mother in law is in her 70's and I am concerned that keeping up with an organised coach load of people may be hard work. If we went separately we can be more flexible on timings etc.

However I am reading that you need security to travel around Egypt? Is a private tour safe?

Following problems a few years ago we visited Cairo from Port Said and were escorted by a small army on an organised tour. I felt more at risk from being sho by a soldier than a terrorist.
