Spirit dry dock changes

Perhaps this link contains actual plans for the Spirit drydock?

...looks like new Circe C area, removal of basketball/volleyball area & addition of Water Wars Water Balloon Attraction(?) & wireless access...

Seems all the items in green text might be the new things? I'm just guessing - but there was definately a basketball court in Nov. Seems strange to add water balloons in place of it if you ask me. Do other ships have this water balloon attraction? (I've only seen it in amusement parks)

Why in the world would they take the basketball court out?? I was on the Paradise with the water balloon thing and never saw it used once!

So Paradise has it now, too? Interesting. I can see the novelty but not the everyday practicality... is it a pay per use or just for certin times? I'm mostly concerned since the basketball courts were the one place the teens (espically the boys) could hang out inot the evening. If it's gone - they'll have nothing left but ping pong as far as sports. (Club O2 was 'lame' & no one was there, so they play sports.)

On the Paradsie it was on the lido deck. It was not being used, ever.. I don't think it was a pay thing, I believe it was a hosted activity director type event.

On an 8 day cruise it would be dumb to take the basketball out for just what you said, the teen boys. I have an almost 15 year old.. On the other hand Club O2 on the Paradise was not "lame". The kids had a great time, met great friends and had a place of their own to hang out. My ds never complained about it... I heard I'm going to the club many, many times.. He's a very active, social kid.

I'm gonna have to email my PVP and see if he knows any ting about this..

Debbi~ That would make for an awfully wet evening..LOL!! Maybe if they filled them with champagne!

ooo Champagne water balloons... now we're talkin! :) Glad your son enjoyed O2 on Paradise... we might have to give that a try for my son's 16th this summer. On Spirit they didn't really organize it well so the teens pretty much just found eachother & hung out. It would be great if we ended up on Spirit for NY Eve - I'd bet our boys would get along. (Mine is outgoing, athletic/football player, social as well...)

DD is turning 18 in Nov so she is thrilled about be able to go into the clubs and the casino on the NYE cruise. But then she says "awww, but I would really miss Club 02". LOL!!!

She also liked the Club 02 on the Paradise....she has commented that the teen clubs on the Fantasy class ships have been better than on the larger ships for some reason.
