How much will it cost to take a taxi to the port in the morning and what time should we get the taxi for to get on the ship as early as possible? (I've heard about 11am to be there?)

Last time we stayed there (2 yrs ago) it cost $24 to the port. It is very near the airport and has a free shuttle service from airport to hotel just phone when you have collected your bags and they are there in a few minutes. Have stayed there lots of times over the years and always enjoyed our stay.

I would agree around $20 to $25 for a cab. They have an airport shuttle, which is free. They also have a shuttle to the pier - you can check with the concierge. We were there a couple of years ago and I believe the concierge said the port shuttle was $10 per person, which seems reasonable, but we have sailed from Miami enough to know that it would not cost much more to get our own cab ..... didn't have to wait for the shuttle to fill and have everyone's bags to contend with.
