coffee in the cabin

Can I get a cup of coffee in my cabin at any time or do I have to pay for this? Am I allowed to get one elsewhere and take it back to the cabin? Thanks.

You can order breakfast to be delivered to your cabin (includes coffee, cuppacino, tea etc. all in porcelain cups), for this there is no service charge. If you order coffee at any other time in then cabin, then you will pay for the coffe plus the room service charge.

 

You can always get a coffee from the coffee machines in the buffet area (plastic mugs) and take it back to your cabin.

We take along travel mugs to bring coffee back to our room from the buffet area. It is great & no spills! Plus, we get a larger serving.

Just to let you know, the normal coffee on board is not great. It is passable for a caffeine hit but not much more.

 

Espresso is much better.

Good idea about the travel mug, I'll do that. Is it worth taking a decent instant with me then? Do they have hot water available?

Hot water is available in the Buffet area for making tea (tea bags!),

PS Kettles or hot eater makers are not allowed in the cabins (same goes for irons) as the electri circuitry would not bear the load.

Thanks again Ron, thats me sorted, travel mug and instant coffee ready to go. Couldn't stand the thought of two weeks without coffee whenever I fancied a cup!
