swom Posted January 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2009 OK, I ask about laptops and now I need to know about camcorders. How many of you take a camcord on board? I'm thinking of buying one, but don't know if I want to deal with it. Do you take a camcorder with you when you cruise?

He videos everything, then edits and transcribes when we get home. We have a voluminous library waiting for me to watch in my old age.

Miss Jolly Posted January 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2009 I always take one - again since "way back when". Nowadays, I edit and make full dvd's that include video footage and photos to music. I get to relive the cruise/holiday all over again as I am making the DVD....and then again when I watch the finished product
SFParrtHd Posted January 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Usually leave the camcorder at home but take the Flip Video, nice and small.
RonnieS Posted January 25, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Just bought the latest Sony Hi-definition, 50 megabyte hard drive, over drive , super duper deluxe, air conditioned, 0-60 in 5 seconds, $10,000.00 camcorder. ;) Ok, it wasn't that much. So yes, I'm bringing the overpriced gadget.
pjs9876 Posted January 25, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2009 The old ones were a pain but nowadays it is easy. You can tuck one in a tote and film away. They last a long time and are light. I love looking back after the hubby makes a CD.
