How late do they serve breakfast?

It varies depending on if it's a port day or a sea day. I think in the dining room, the latest on a sea day is about 10:00 and earlier on a port day. They do serve breakfast on the Lido later tho, until 10:30 or 11:00 sometimes. It'll be announced each day in the Capers.

I agree. I have b'fast in the dining room every day of the cruise. Those Belgian waffles are scrumptious! I have a hard time deciding what to eat. I make Eggs Benedict at home, but still have them at least once during a cruise. The pastries and fresh fruit are a nice choice as well. Don't forget the comp espresso or cappuccino!:)

Yep. I have all three meals each day (except port days lunch) in the dining room. Espresso w/b'fast, cappuccino after lunch, and double espresso w/dessert after dinner. I stay wired!:D

First, buy a Belgian wafflemaker. For the bananas, melt 1/2 stick of butter in skillet, add 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teas. each nutmeg and cinnamon. Add two bananas, cut into 1/2" pieces. Mash 1/4 of bananas w/fork to thicken sauce. Stir well, put cover on skillet, lower heat to warm, for five minutes. Serve over waffles; I add a dollop of whipped cream. The stewed bananas also make a great topping for ice cream. Enjoy!:)

The only time we ever make it to the dining room for breakfast is the very lst morning--while eveyone is looking for a place to sit up on the lido deck we are already seated and enjoying our breakfast in the nice calm, quiet setting.

 

If you only can do breakfast in the dining room one time-- make it that morning you are getting off. You wont be sorry.

They had been made ahead and sitting under a heat lamp too long. I hope you sent them back for fresher...?

Sandals are fine for breakfast in the dining room, the only thing they don't want is bathing suits and coverups (maybe to avoid someone with a wet suit on sitting on the nice chairs).

We experienced this the first time we them as well - after that, just ask for extra sauce on the side. The eggs were still a little well done for our taste, but the sauce helped make up for it!
