Although we have cruised many times with P & O this will be our first time with FO. How does FO compare with P & O and what is the food and restaurants like on board?

We've been on P&O once (Arcadia), and Olsen once (Balmoral). No comparison - the food on Balmoral was considerably better, tending towards traditional English, but using proper vegetables, as opposed to frozen on Arcadia, decently sourced and cooked meat, as opposed to P&O's sad offerings, and proper cream. On Arcadia, at afternoon tea, it was synthetic:eek:.

Passenger mix pretty similar, and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
