We are thinkig about going here. Has anyone been and was it worth it? Also prices for Jet Ski and Bananna Boats.

I've been to Paradise Beach several times and I think it's worth it. There are prettier beaches but it's nice enough, the drinks are good (not watered down) and the nachos are to die for. There are waiters on the beach that will get your chairs, food and drink. It is not a good beach for snorkeling.

Sorry, I don't know about the jet ski or banana boat prices.

Paradise beach is wonderful and I also 2nd the Nacho's. Ask for the green salsa if you like your food spicy, I sure wish I had some. I don't know about the Jet Ski's or Bannana Boats but if you go to the Cozumel site the e-mail for Tom (the owner) is there. He is the best.

Paradise Beach is one of the "free beaches" in that they do not charge an entrance fee.

They also do not charge for the use of their lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, CLEAN restrooms or changing rooms. They even have free Internet at the bar. All they ask is that you eat/drink while you are there...which is fair.

You can purchase a $10 wristband for the use of their water/land toys but this is completely OPTIONAL. Our 2 boys always get it ....hubby and I do not (we are shade people). The wristband includes 2 water trampolines with the bridge that goes between....an iceberg...floats (both individual and multi-person)...kayaking (although you do have to be a certain age to do this on your own)...snorkeling....bungie trampoline on land and coconunt trees that you can climb.

There are independent vendors who offer parasailing (last time I checked it was $55.00 for a single or $110 for tandum) and jet skiing (also $55 for 1/2 hour)....I don't know the price of the banana boats but they have those as well. Also massages for $1 a minute (20 minute minimum) right on the beach with clean towels and a cool breeze. Lots of vendors that offer lots to do...but we have never been hassled by vendors...they are just there if you want to do these extra things.

All the beach resorts are $12 -15 one way for up to 4 people for a taxi. (depending on where you dock)

Nachi Cocom is right down the street, that's where we went. It's an AI, it says you get a 3 course meal, but we stuffed ourselves. It's $48 for adults and worth every penny. They also have all the toys and things, but they have a cap on the number of ppl allowed in so you don't have to worry about getting there early to insure a spot with an umbrella. The parasailing there is cheaper, as well. Go check out the Coz board, there's lots of good info over there.

Paradise Beach has been our favorite cruise port day out of 3 cruises and 10 ports so far. LOVED IT!!

Your waiter will pamper you all day long, he will escort you to a lounge chair and then bring drinks/food to your lounge chair and make sure you have everything you need. Wonderful service!

The water was warm and it was just a great day. Our early-20's sons also loved it. They used the trampoline, iceburg, kayaks a lot and had a blast.

My sister and I were their in July and enjoyed this beach as well. One thing to add. They have massages on the beach. They have a tent area sent up and charge $1.00 a minute. We got a 30 minute massage that was one of the best I had every gotten. They will work on whatever areas you want. We go there at 10:00 and were the first ones. I didn't want to wait till I have all oiled down or really hot. They had large fans blowing on you and that drowned out the voices outside. It was very relaxing and was 1/3 of the price on the ship.

Agreed :) If you can grab a couple cartons of white milk before you head to the beach Tom really appreciates it too. Can't get the good milk in Mexico and he gives it to his child......

The guacamole is awesome! Very clean facilities, lots of fun for the day, reasonably priced and great service. Been here 3 times.

Nachi is $49.00 per adult and $29.00 per child...but this is only for unlimited drinks and one 3 course meal. This price does not include snorkeling or any toys...those are extra.

And as with all the beach resorts in Cozumel...it is a $12-15 taxi one way for up to 4 people.
