paradiseseekers Posted January 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Is there an adult area/pool on the pride. Sorry if this has been asked before:rolleyes:
wcurry66 Posted January 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Pride is spirit class. I've not been on it, but it's sister ship (Miracle) does not have the full "adult only space". however, it has an adult only hot tub and the aft end of the lido deck. My assumption is the Pride is the same
astropilot Posted January 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Is there an adult area/pool on the pride. Sorry if this has been asked before:rolleyes: Was on the Pride last year, and the aft pool on Lido was labeled "Adult Only", however there were a few kids there on most days. bobsfamily Posted January 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2009 If it's "labeled" with no one around it's doubtful it will be "adults only"... even without the kids that run loose some adults seem to think if their kids are with them it's OK... skiorcruise Posted January 29, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Sprit class ships like the Pride have an adults only area on the Lido deck aft of the buffet dining area. I also wish Carnival / Parents would do a better job of enforcing adults only.
bobsfamily Posted January 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2009 I also wish Carnival / Parents would do a better job of enforcing adults only. My "kids" are now 16/20 and aren't going where I am... but when they were little we never went somewhere "adult" be it a fancy eatery or an "adult area" unless they were with babysitter/camp Carnival/etc. I am constantly amazed at the parents that think it OK for them to bring their little "darlings" with them. If it says "adults only" that's what it means.
dbogusch Posted January 30, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 30, 2009 If you look at the Pride deck plans it does have an adults only area. If there are kids there and they are bothering you, you can tell security and hopefully they'll take care of it.
maxamuus Posted January 30, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 30, 2009 We never had any issues with kids in the adult area when we sailed the Pride last year.
Jilpo Posted January 30, 2009 #9 Share Posted January 30, 2009 On our December trip on the Miracle, the aft pool and hot tub were labeled adults only. The only time I saw a child in that pool (he was with his mother) it wasn't more than 15 minutes than a Carnival employee came and informed the mother that it was adults only and they left. I was really impressed! I also spent a lot of time at the aft bar and pool area.

I love kids and have two myself but if I do go the adult area I am there for a reason. :)
