Hotel Near the Port of Miami

We are flying down a day early and would like to stay in a hotel that faces the port of Miami. I want to wake up, look out my window and see that beautiful ship.

I am going down two days one night (red eye) from Kelowna BC, Canada I am taking my wife to a Florida Marlins (she is a HUGE MLB fan) game then the cruise the next day. So I also need a nice hotel by the port....Thanks

The Holiday Inn Port of Miami is very close to the ports. We could see the ships from our window! We had a great stay and would stay there again if we traveled out of the Miami port again. Make sure you request a room that faces the port so you can wake up and see your ship!

Try the Intercontinental and ask for a high floor with a bay view. You'll be able to see the entire port and all of the ships. Usually, you can get it on Priceline for less than the Holiday Inn charges and it's a very nice 4* hotel. Good luck!
