Disney specialist vs. high volume agent

I am organizing a 7 night group Disney cruise for family and friends. I am looking for input into where I can get the best prices, and perks plus get good service. I have done some research online and I am torn between a disney specialist agency and a big cruise only web travel agency. I have read that the big cruise retailers block so many rooms that they get huge commissions and pass some onto the customer making them hard to beat price and perk wise. But I have also read Disney cruise line is different and Disney agents are better suited for this. Any input???? Does it matter?

I would call Disney, and a few cruise only sites that can be found, and ask for a quote.( I went thru the same thing a few years ago). Each individual agency, will have different requirements for a large group. Example: Place A may say well give you a discount rate after 8 rooms are booked.

Place b may say well give you discounted rates after 15 rooms.

Someone else may say,as mentioned before, well give you room credit. Dont be shy in telling each agency, what you can get from another.You might be surprised in what you can get.
