Crib or pack n' play???

We are in a mini-suite on NCL (285 sq. ft.) w/ a 3 yr. old (sofa couch) and infant. What would be better for our infant in regards to the rm. etc. crib or pack n' play? NCL apparently has both. FYI - she is not a particuarly large infant.

 

The NCL agent even suggested reserving both for our room, can't figure out why though???

Probably so she could play in one and sleep in one. I'd suggest the crib; it will have a mattress and would be better for sleeping than the playpen.

I took my 8 month old on an NCL cruise (older than baby, so therefore bigger), I found the crib to be really flimsy. This was a few years ago, so maybe the upgraded, but at the time I wished I had brought my pack and play along.

My "infant" will be 10 months when we cruise although she is petit for her age. I would estimate she might be around 16 lbs. by sailing date. She is also long - the string bean effect. :)

We sail on Sunday so I'll let you know how it was when we get back if you want! When do you sail?

I am bringing my Peapod. It packs up to 14" x 5", and is a pop out tent with an inflatable mattress. It is perfect for napping AND for keeping sun off my baby on the beach.

We sail in May to Alaska so we'll be inside w/ balcony door closed a lot.

for room space, you might want the pack n play. we had it in our Mini Suite last year, without the couch pulled out, and there wasn't that much room. for comfort, we put some blankets under the pack n play matress.
