Liberty - March weather

We will be on the Liberty March 27- April 4th in the Western Carib....is the water warm enough then to swim?

We went on that same itinerary 3 yrs ago at that time of year and the weather was wonderful.... swam in every port.

All depends on your comfort level. I have swam, snorkled and dove without a wetsuit in the Caribbean in March, April, November and December with no problem. I am much less affected by cold than most people. In November 2008 I was on a 3 day dive trip off the coast of California. I was the only one on the ship that only used 1 piece of the wetsuit, others used 3 piece wetsuits or drysuits.

 

How warm is 80 degree water to you?
