Tendering in Cabo

We are sailing the star on Feb 14th and it seems that we will be tendering in Cabo at 11am. We were going to book an excursion that starts at 12. Would we be able to get off the ship in time. I thought I read somewhere that people book on excursions through the ship get priority tendering.

Yes, the passengers who book NCL excursions go first, then the suites, and then the rest. Tendering can take over an hour, so wake up early and get as early a tender number as possible that day.

Usually these independent shore excursion people are familiar with these rules, and will wait a while for you, up to 15-30 minutes. I wouldn't worry about the time so much. But don't wake up late that day and get a very late tender ticket. That is the day you should wake up early and be first in line to get an early tender ticket.
