Whale watching in march on the mariner of the seas

we are on the mariner of the sea's on march 15th...someone has saisd that the whale watching might be touch and go for that time of the yr...since in the past that would be the end of the whale watching period...i know the mariner is in route to the west cost as i type this...has anyone heard of how the whale watchiNg is this winter...we plan to take the excursion in cabo to be these gentle giants...that should be the highlite of the trip and of course getting the hell out of frozen minnesota for a week...GO CARDINALS...
