Ocho Rios or Montego Bay?

My wife and I are nearly 70 years old and while we're both healthy we are not water sport people. We like to browse around the shops, have a few brews and relax. Knowing this which of the two ports would you recommend and WHY? :)

Thanks

Hate to say it, but neither one.

The Montego Bay tour was a total waste of time

Why was it a waste of time? No shops?, No relaxing pubs. Are you a water sports person?

We live in So. California a half hour from Huntington Beach also known as Surf City, USA. Water sports are nothing new to us and not the reason we go on cruises to the Caribbean.

I'm just trying to get a feel for each port. Our possible next cruise has two choices; while both are on RCL one stops in Ochos Rios the other docks at Montego Bay. The remaining ports of call are the same for either ship.

This will be our fouth Caribbean cruise so we've seen many of the other islands. Jamaica just happens to be one we have not.

Thanks for your posting :)
