Shopping and Shipping in St. Martin

Recommended Posts

We are doing the Serenade cruise on the 14th (11 days!) and this is our first. We have been told that the shopping for linen is very good in St. Martin. Our problem apart from not knowing the best place to shop, is getting our purchases home. We live in Atlanta, and packing for a week trip (even cutting back as much as I can) still leaves us little space. We could check an extra bag, pay the fees down and back (we will already have to pay for one at $15 on Air Tran and the second would be $25, which is $80 when we figure two flights).

Here is the question.....has anyone shipped purchases back from St. Martin, is it expensive, and where do you go to go about doing that?

Any ideas, suggestions, or experiences would be helpful.

Mike
