Connecting balconies - ios

OUr family has 5 rooms in a row and were wondering if you could have the doors connecting the balconies opened. We were able to do this on the innaugaral cruise on Freedom of the Seas but did't know if they still allowed this. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

We had two rooms on IOS and they opened the balconies for us.

Just ask the steward. Your steward may not be the one for all your rooms, but you don't have to go to the purser.
