aqua class question

Hi,

Having just returned from a wonderful cruise on Solstice, we can vouch for the fact that you do get all the benefits.

We loved our Aqua Class stateroom. The perks were delightful and the spa services were fantastic. You'll love the Relaxation Room across the bow..., a great place to lounge, with a fantastic view! I particularly enjoyed the daily tea brought to the room.

If you're lucky enough to have our stateroom attendant, Marcelo, you'll be very, very, very well taken care of!! He's the best we've ever had!

Hi Celebrity Man!

I'm glad that you enjoyed AquaClass on Solstice. We really enjoyed it in December, and are looking forward to our Eastern Med cruise in AQ this May.

How did you enjoy Blu?

Will you be going on the 12 day Wine Cruise in September (Vancouver to Los Angeles)? It looks like a great trip.

Hi Elena,

We loved it!! After all the negative 'press' BLU had been getting on Cruise Critic, I wasn't sure what it would be like. In fact, just in case, at the end of the previous week we made arrangements with the MDR to be accommodated there if we needed.

However, all fears were unfounded. BLU was outstanding!! The service was attentive without being obtrusive, all staff members there were friendly and genuine, and the cuisine was consistently among the best we've had on Celebrity. Presentation was marvelous, and the whimsical glass dishes used for appetizers, salads, and dessert only added to the pleasure.

We were impressed that the Chef came around to chat with folk at their tables. It wasn't just to meet people, he came to ask questions about our opinions of various menu items, their sauces, etc.

Yes, over the course of the week we did find a couple of items we didn't care for -- but that had nothing to do with their quality or presentation, more to not being to personal taste.

Other than our first night (when a loud, obnoxious woman ruined the evening for half the restaurant!!) there was a delightful, truly palpable air of conviviality and genuine satisfaction in BLU.

We would do Aqua Class again, just to have the pleasure of dining in BLU!!
