Has anyone ever changed their M&M time?

Recommended Posts

At least successfully?? Our group just isn't very happy with the 7:45pm time given for our sailing. It kind of squished between dinner times, so the early diners have to leave dinner in a hurry and the late diners don't get that much time either. We think we would like much earlier in the day and are shooting for a time (11am) that some of the other Explorer cruises have it.

Who do you think we should contact? The e-mail said contact xplora@rccl.com. We thought we would start there.

Thanks for any help!!

Izzy

Many groups set up an alternate time to meet, so you could just go with that. Not everyone will know, but everybody on the board will. I think your best bet to get it changed would be to find out who the CD is and email them directly. You're won't be missing much at the official gathering anyway; just some finger foods and a few prizes.

You could show up for your meet and mingle, and make arrangements to meet for a longer time at a more convenient time. The time is up to the line. They have to find a time, early in the cruise, when a lounge will be ready and available to use and most passengers will be on board. The M&Ms never last very very long.

Yarlenna! You could have mentioned that 3 different cruises on Brilliance managed to get theirs changed to the first at sea day, 11 AM by mass e-mails to Xplora! Why give him the lounge arrangement line when you know that it is is possible "as a group" to get the time changed?

If you are in touch with most of your cruise critic group, and you can all agree on a time, it might be possible to e-mail Xplora with your suggestion, and they might possibly listen. You better have almost perfect attendance, then. Otherwise you are better off arranging your own.

Last week, we changed our time on the Navigator successfully. TonyRic, if you check in, who did you contact? They had scheduled us on Sunday, which, because of the itinerary change, ended up being a shore day (Nassau). Tony contacted someone at RCCL and they changed it for us to Monday, our at-sea day. I think it was 11:30 a.m. in the beautiful Cosmopolitan Club. We had a great turnout!
