Non-Smoking Guarantee-Priceline/Hotwire

It appears that with both Priceline & Hotwire it is up to the purchaser to request a nonsmoking room once the hotel room has been purchased.

I am super sensitive to cigarette smoke and can't stay in a smoking room. Other than identifying a smoke free property, is there anyway to guarantee that your request for a smoke free room is fulfilled?

I should add that I'm looking for something in FLL 1 nite precruise 3/4 - 3/4 stars, prefer downtown or beach.

No. Neither priceline nor hotwire will guarantee anything but a room with either one double bed or two twin beds and a private bath.

 

If you have health issues, you need to book conventionally.

 

If you would read priceline and hotwire's terms and conditions, this is clearly outlined.

Most mainstream hotels have both smoking and non-smoking rooms so if you are unsure just be sure and revisit it when you checkin to the hotel. You should be fine.
