Amenity Value Package?

I am not sure what this is. The TA says it's something the TA gives it's customers.. TA is giving $300.00 of APV to be used like on board credit. Also, $300.00 on board credit per cabin and pre-paiud gratutites pp. are given from the cruise line. I'm skeptical, because things that are too good to be true, usually are. Has this happened to you. Can you explain it to me? Thanks.

The AVP sounds like a coupon book to be redeemed for services onboard. I haven't seen one for Azamara, but I have seen some books provided by TAs on other lines that have spa discounts, casino credits, etc. Whether it's really worth $300 depends on whether you would use what's in there.

The $300 OBC and prepaid gratuities is for real - we got that when we booked directly with Azamara. :) They periodically run that kind of promotion in order to fill up the ships.

That is pretty much what we thought. Thanks for confirming it. Nothing against the TA, he's doing his job "selling the cruise" but he made it sound as if it were an additional $300.00 obc, and we were very skepital. Glad we got it cleared up, with another opinion. Thanks again. :)

Remember that it's only my opinion, but you may as well just ask him point blank what it is.

Our TA gave us a $700 OBC for our Journey sailing in December (in addition to what we had from Azamara). But she didn't call it by a fancy name, just OBC. It's the name that makes me skeptical.
