clairesmom Posted February 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2009 I brought and used our Angelcare monitor (sound only, not the motion sensor pad) and it worked on the balcony and in the room next door (my ILs room).
mkad1109 Posted February 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2009 DH and I had a balcony, 4 kids across the hall.... I loved to sleep to the sound of their steady breathing-made me knew all was right! My kids were 12,10, 9 and 8. I don't use it anymore-girls are in a connecting balcony and DS is 16 1/2 and a GREAT kid.

mjmalino Posted February 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2009 We actually use a set of walkie-talkies that have a monitor function. They worked well last year. We had them set up that my kids would have to actually be talking for us to hear them, which is fine.
