sugarlipz Posted February 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2009 Can anyone tell me what the cancellation charge is for cancelling a booking (in Canada) with less than 60 days to sail date? Thanks!
falken Posted February 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2009 Can anyone tell me what the cancellation charge is for cancelling a booking (in Canada) with less than 60 days to sail date? Thanks! Should be the same as the US, as I believe the booking can only go through NCL US or NCL UK. Since 60 days would be past the final payment date you would lose the entire amount that you paid. calmac Posted February 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2009 I'm not sure that you would lose ALL of your money, assuming your booking was made through NCL US. Somewhere on the NCL website it does state what the details are.

Somewhere on the NCL website it does state what the details are. You're right... I always thought you did. If you are talking the 7 day POA cruise in your signature you would lose your Deposit if you cancel between 30-75 days, 50% of the total fare if you cancel 8-29 days, and 100% 7 days or less. If you are in a GV, CV, or Owners Suite, higher fees apply.

calmac Posted February 6, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2009 I think you will also find that you are refunded the port taxes (not sure about the other taxes). I know that when we cancelled after final payment last year we received more back from NCL than we expected which was due to taxes, just not sure which ones.
