we will be on the star princess in may , i was looking at takeing a whale tour on the zodic boat to see orca whales. has any one done this?thanks:D

contact them directly to check the schedule and duration of evening tours for cruise

ship passengers as you are only in port from 1700 to 2359.

Whale Watching tours is almost an industry in Victoria with more than a dozen opertaors and who knows how many boats. Prince of Whales is the largest operator and a very good one. This Orca Spirit also comes very highly recommended and they operate larger boats that have restrooms which can be a factor for some of us on longer excursions.:)

Thanks for the recommendations for whale watching. Is it recommended to get a reservation? I have not considered an evening cruise. Is this recommended in this area? M

The whales seen on the tours out of Victoria are generally local guys. Latest info J Pod has at least one new member. yeah.

 

Reservations are recommended but not always needed.

if you are on a cruise ship the prince of whales has added a 6.30 pm time slot , so everyone can make the zodaic tour.which is alot of fun!we need 4 more people to fill our zodaic boat on the star princess may 17th .i did this before in mexico and we had a blast! your on a jet boat going fast in the water and see alot of whales and seals.:)
