RE;Leaving Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port

Can someone tell me the quickest way and cheapest way to get to Fort Lauderdale Airport after the cruise. We have done Miami the last two cruises . Haven't done FLL Cruise port in awhile. Just remembered the long line a couple years ago getting on. That was awful. So much worse than Miami. We don't want to miss our flight after . We booked a 12;15 so should be okay. Leaving this week.

Take a taxi when you get off.

Only about a 15 minute ride to FLL airport!

Probably about $15 with tip included.

Ditto on the cab. I think it is a flat rate to the airport or at least it was last time we did Fort Lauderdale 2 years ago. We are doing it in March so I was trying to find the info again but I can't find it. Either way the above price seems pretty close to me.

We also will be using taxi in March.

Fly in on March 10th staying at Embassy Suites.

Fly out March 23rd so need a taxi back to airport.

 

This is what it cost us in 2007 and have read it still is about the same.

I'd grab a cab there seems to be lots of full sized Ford cabs in FLL and your fare to the airport should be <$15 incl tip.

Last time we were in FLL, the port was just crazy & we didn't know where to go to find a cab. Is there a certain area where the cabs congregate?

your flight time should be alright...it wasnt more than 15 minutes to the airport from the ship and between $10-15

When you exit the building there will be plenty of porters around for the next cruise. You could ask them or look for the area where the cars circle around.

 

When we got off at the princess terminal the cab area was to the left.
