Hi I am sailing on the Gem Feb 21st out of NYC. Can I use my cell phone on the boat in that port?

Can I use it as well in the FL port?

I have roaming included with my provider.

Thanks

It will be just like using it when you are on land. The only time that you would incur a larde cost per minute would be if you are out at sea.

When you are at the pier, it is just like being in a building next to the pier. You are in NYC or FTL and can make calls no matter what. Once the ship gets out of range of land towers, they will turn on the ship towers. Your phone will still work but will say CELLULAR at SEA. Calls are $2.50 per minute except t-mobile that rips you off at $5 a minute.

When you are in foreign ports, you will pay the rate for that country. You can find those rates on your cell phone web site.
