mountainhouse Posted February 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Though I'm sure this has been asked before, searching for the word "port" doesn't work too well on this forum. :) I figure port is wine, so it shouldn't be an issue for Princess if I bring a bottle. My plan is just to pay the corkage, and then savor it through the week. I've done the $15 a glass Sademan's, and it's just not that good.
paul929207 Posted February 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Port is wine so it would fall under the same rules as other wines. You should not have a problem.
ancldaca Posted February 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2009 I have and it was wonderful sipping that nectar of the gods on the balcony while watching the waters slip by below...
J.A.H. Posted February 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2009 We always bring Port, and have also picked up some at the duty free shops at the cruise terminals in various ports. We carry it on, and have never had a problem. Enjoy!:D Julie (You can buy the larger bottles, however I think that they are in the less expensive category, if that matters)
cruisinbuddy Posted February 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2009 I usually bring champagne on board, but a nice bottle of Taylor Fladgate 20 yr Tawny sounds really good. Maybe I'll do that on my next cruise.
