RCCL transfer cost from Harwich to Heathrow

Hi, we are going on the Jewel of the Seas to Harwich in May and I am looking for the cost for the ship transfer to Heathrow airport.

Trains are out because of physical problems handling luggage and we have tons of taxi/limo info.

The last time I got a quote from RCI Frankfurt

 

81 was the amount... but not sure USD or EUR... Nevertheless: too expensive...

 

but if you are a party of two it was cheaper to book an independent transfer.

We had our TA check on this as we are going on the Jewel in June from Harwich. We were told that it was $100 USD per person both ways, but you had to have made your air through RCCL. We then arranged private transport which wasn't any less expensive. We are paying $180 GBP each way for 4 people in a mini-van. You should be able to get private transport for much less as you wouldn't need the larger car.

We were able to get transfers to Harwich from Victoria Coach without RCCL air. Right now we're just trying to figure out what time it picks up.

We also booked with Eddie Mannings transporation company which is the link listed by Rick above. They are amazingly fast in getting back to you with a quote and very nice to work with. They were recommended to us by another Cruise Critic person. They are transporting our family of six for way less than RCCL which means that we can get back to the airport much quicker than waiting on the bus to load.

We used airportcruisetransfers.com They have been recommended on several sites. They have been quite prompt with the inquiries we've had. They also have a very good web site that is easy to use.
